I have built a reputation on composition work involving specific and precise application, and my wide portfolio of works demonstrates this.
Roots
Since a young age, I have passionately pursued classical music in all of its aspects, but especially that of piano. The foundational aspects of my musicality are obvious.
Empiricism
I don’t sit around and theorize about sound, I turn to my left and I use the vast array of tools at my disposal to create them myself. Creation is right there next to me.

My name is Sebastian Rechner. I’m a composer based in Los Angeles.
I make scary and beautiful noises to twist your ears.
I started my journey with the piano. For years I toiled until I came to realize I could also create alongside my labor. From then on I set about broadening my musical horizons in every possible direction, making everything from prog rock to digital hardcore.
I adore film, and the collaborative monolith of an artform it is, but above all else I adore music, and its power to unify and conjure real magic in our world. My goal in not only my career, but in life, is to make that magic.
